Hiya, I’m going to graduate with an Msc in a geography/geology field (from a top 10 uni in the UK) in four years and I was wondering whether (with the economy back to normal) I would possess a viable “sought after” skill for immigration to the US?
Thanks in advance,

My credit card went through a cycle in the washing machine. Has anyone done that, and how did it turn out?

A lot of folks round here think that the only worthwhile economic activity is manufacturing heavy tangible objects. And so they complain that advanced economies like the US and the UK are deficient, because instead of everyone being assembly line workers, so many people instead are worthless doctors, accountants, financial analysts, pharmaceutical researchers, graphics designers, etc.
… So my question is, how did these severely retarded people ever learn to use the Internet and come here?

I’m new to having a credit card so please bare with me …
Today I made a 5$ purchase and long story short I needed a different item so they refunded the 5$ back onto my credit card and charged me 10$ for the item I needed. Could someone explain how this will work on my credit card statement I don’t want to have to end up paying 15$. Thanks!

Let,s put political correctness to one side for a change. People who can work but don,t are killing the economy of this country with there;
Free housing.
Free food.
Free health-care.
Free children.
And god knows what else these disgusting takers get for nothing provided by the hard working tax payers of the UK.
What would you like to say to these leeches given the chance?
H; Thats music to my ears.
Storm; By Free Children ,I mean that they will be using our tax money to support them rather than using money they have earned.

I want a Chase Freedom credit card because it offers cash back and I tend to be spendy. How does cash back program really work? I mean do you have to spend a certain amount to get cash back or what’s the deal?

I just got my first credit card and it has a $2,500 limit on it. I have charged $2,225 on it. I will only be able to pay the minimum payment this bill cycle of $50. Though I should be able to pay it off in full by late September. In the mean time I need to pay some bills. Will I get a $2,500 credit limit the following cycle or just the remaining $275 until I pay the bill?

Record year forecast for home foreclosures
The bleakest year in foreclosure crisis has only just begun. Lenders are poised to take back more homes this year than any other since the U.S. housing meltdown began in 2006. About 5 million borrowers are at least two months behind on their mortgages and more will miss payments as they struggle with job losses and loans worth more than their home’s value, industry analysts forecast. Lenders are …
