Why don’t all colleges and universities have mandatory classes in finance and job searching?

Saturday, November 20th, 2010

I know some schools have them and some don’t it’s something it is available but not required. With all the classes you have to take in general studies I’m surprised that you don’t have to take a class in personal finance/credit management and how to conduct a proper job search (resumes, cover letters, networking, etc). Afterall isn’t that what most people go to university for, to get a decent income and better job.
