My credit card went through a cycle in the washing machine. Has anyone done that, and how did it turn out?

I have a costumer that owe me $2500, he wants to pay me with credit card. I dont have any credit card account machine. So I opened an account with paypal and I read that paypal charge 2.9%. How long does it takes to receive payment from a credit card?
I know that the 2.9% fee is good, but my question is how long does paypal takes to deposit the money to my account. Because usually credit cards payment takes more than debit cards.

The recession left many people out of work, either through job cuts, redundancies and those unhappy in work resigning. Those made redundant will have received a substantial pay out enabling them financially and academically capable to invest in a new business, whether a business buy-in, franchise or a start-up. These are the people that are now using their initiative to set up a business and help the recovery of the economy, hence we all know that it is the private sector that will lead us to prosperity.

Only last week PM David Cameron encouraged us to ‘make a job’ rather than to ‘take a job’ in view of the Global Entrepreneurship Week. The government has recognised the growing momentum around the country for people to try entrepreneurship for the first time, offering them support schemes, mentoring guidance groups and motivation to ensure that they can make their new business a success. We are all aware of the big society, coalition and joining forces to make for a better future together, so how can we do this on smaller scale to help our businesses bloom?

Maybe the answer again is joining forces with like-minded people, so joining and attending networking events.  By emersing your new business within a network there is the opportunity to gain professional advantage, exchange great business ideas and establish growth at a more rapid pace compared to businesses that don’t. Networking is a reliable, positive and realistically achievable form of marketing, with a return of investment that is hard to beat.

The research discovered that over half of the working population spend approximately half an hour browsing sites such as Facebook during work hours. However, only 14% of those polled conceded that their social networking habits made them less productive at work, with a defiant 10% insisting that time spent checking the activities of friends online actually enhanced their production levels.

The British employment website which carried out the study believes that such behaviour is a serious detriment to companies’ efforts to bolster their productivity, especially in a time of continued economic uncertainty.
