Isn’t Obama more of a moderate right-wing president than the extreme leftist he is painted as in Fox News?

Saturday, May 21st, 2011

In the other major political unions/economies of the world the EU, Japan, UK (I considered them separate from EU because they have less ties to EU than other places like France/Germany do), Canada, Australia, and South Korea Obama is considered much more of a center right wing president.

Trust me I really wish we did have a true center-left wing government and president rather than center-right but at least the Democrats and Obama is much improved over Republicans.

Do the French have a greater sense of democracy than we do?

Monday, March 14th, 2011

As most of you will have seen the French held their presidential elections on Sunday April 22nd. The voter turnout was a staggering 85% of the registered French population!

The issues facing France are serious and their people motivated to get out and make their voice heard.

In the USA and the UK it’s often a struggle to get a 35% or 40% turnout amongst registered voters and in my opinion, the issues facing both our nations are far greater than a simple lack of confidence and a sluggish economy.

So do the French have a greater sense of democracy than we do in the USA and UK? Is the reason that our governments operate with such a sense of impunity that we don’t vote -so they know that there aren’t repercussions?

Does an unsecured credit card build credit faster than a secured?

Friday, February 25th, 2011

I’m new to credit cards. I keep getting sent these crap mass mailings for unsecured ones and apply to them just to deny me. Really a waste of time and annoying. So I’m applying for a secured one with a 200$ security deposit. Two questions…First does a secured build credit any faster or slower than an unsecured card? And is $200 bound to be my credit line? For example, could I only put up to $200 in purchases monthly on it? I’m applying for the Orchard Bank one. Thanks!

Dont you feel that India is now richer than other countries in terms of business and finance?

Sunday, February 13th, 2011

Compared to some other countries in Europe and Asia, India is now booming and is far more richer because of new ventures and business with the USA and UK?

So many silly people think that India is still poor but now with the economy booming and the business from so many countries partnering with India, we can no longer refer to the country as poor can we?!

Please give me your answers on this forum with the right information and no insults please!

Thanks….
