FEDARCYK, the Assistant Director in Charge of the New York Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (“FBI“), announced today the unsealing of a complaint charging New York State Senator CARL KRUGER and State Assemblyman WILLIAM BOYLAND, JR., with accepting bribes in exchange for official acts.

National, state stats on fraud in FTC report
Friday March 11, 2011 BENNINGTON — The Federal Trade Commission released its annual report on consumer fraud and identity theft Tuesday. Vermont went from being the 44th state with the most identity theft complaints to 45th, according to the report, completed by Consumer Sentinel Network. According to it, in 2009, there were 277 complaints made to the FTC for identity theft.
