UK Credit Cards

I was just wondering out of USA, New Zealand and Britain, which of these would be the best place to live for a surgeon who wants to raise a family. I’m looking for something with really nice but moderately cheap houses, low crime rates and a good economy. New Zealand (that’s where I live at the moment) is meant to be like Australia, in case you’re answering but you haven’t been to NZ. I hear that Canada is ideal too, but for now I’m just looking at New Zealand, USA and UK. Thanks .

I dont have any credit and lots of student loans, I’ve never had a credit card. I wan tot build my credit, but no one will give me a credit card. Im stuck with this secure crap apparently. I opened one with HSBC but theyve had horrible customer service, losing my paperwork, making me jump through a million hoops, and worst of all taking more than 3 months to setup a simple card that is not even activated yet. Im fed up. Any other ideas?

Oh nice. I just got approved for a credit card with USAA (the absolute best insurance company on the planet) and I didnt even need a secure card. Hoorah! All you Orchard bank lovers need to get a clue!

So I just found out my credit score and it is baddd…525!!! Mostly medical bills but I have under a grand of debt. Anyway, I am currently paying things off and was wondering if there is a department store or something that would give a credit card so I can try and build my score. Anyone ever apply and get one?
