I recieved a 1099c form from a credit card company for a settled credit card debt. The amount is for $10,000. I only make $31,000 per year. Will I end up owing on taxes due to being in a different tax bracket? Will the debt finally be gone?

It is nearly eight years since Tony Blair won a resounding ovation after telling both houses of Congress that Britain stood shoulder to shoulder with America after the 9/11 attacks.
In those eight years Britain has been by far the largest contributor of combat troops, intelligence and logistical support, after America, to two American wars of choice, one of which President Obama still considers a “war of necessity”.

Okay my nephew is getting married next year. His fiancee has to pay back $80,000 on her student loans. My nephew’s student loans from college are paid off. Once they are married does this become his debt? which I assume it does. Have been out of school for a LONG time just wondered how does this work. Please no sarcastic answers my nephew asked me and I had no clue. Any information is welcomed. Thank you!
