what’s the economy like in England? Don’t get me wrong, america is nice, but I want to move to England or New Zealand or Australia.
what is the economy like in those three areas? cost of living, job availability would help too. I just want to move away from America. I like it, but I don’t think it’s for me. I’ve been to england before, as well as many other countries like china and japan and korea, etc. but I really like England. I do want to move there someday, maybe even some day soon. are there any websites that might have this information on other countries?
thanks a lot!

I’m from the USA and the American economy is not in the best of shape, we have lots of wasted stimulus dollars and job market is weak right now in the states.
In Britain, the economy is probably in AWESOME shape, people are dancing to the beat of Gordon Brown, the GB Pound is way way way high, the Brits are having a blast playing football, playing jacks at the pubs, and living and laughing in those British red phone booths and listening to Blur….
Britain is paradise, shouldn’t I move out there?
I wanna say one of the most delightful flights I ever had was flying to London Heathrow on British airways…the nicest coach treatment ever, and the food was good

Hey everyone. I am a dual citizen of the US and UK. I was born there and lived there until 6 years of age. I really miss the culture, and my family there that I haven’t seen for approximately 4 years now. I know the economy sucks, so is this sensible at all to even think of moving back? I’m studying fisheries and wildlife in college here, could this equate to absolutely anything over there that will support me? (I’m thinking maybe the sea industry?) I just have so many happy memories of my life there and my visits, and it’s just not the same here. Has anyone else done this, and those living in the UK, could you give me any advice? I’ve heard a lot of people just want out and it’s gotten horrible over there, is there truth to that? Thanks for the help!

Both the UK and USSR have been moving farther and farther to the Right. As they do their economy, life styles and freedoms are on the rise. Yet as the US moves farther and farther left we are doing worse and worse. If socialism and a government that takes power away from the people and then tells them how to live is such a wonderful idea, say the liberals, why is this happening?
Also, in the mid 90′s when Japan’s economy was shrinking why did they slash taxes to save themselves from a recession? Why did it work for them but is “stupid” for us in the US to do? Should someone who understand the basics of economics start putting the words up on obama’s teleprompter in order to save the country?

I really miss my home country of the UK. I have been here almost 15 years and always kind of felt like something was missing. I miss the culture there, a lot. Is it silly to sit and dream about moving back? It almost depresses me. I know I probably never will with the state of the economy and having my family here now, but then a part of me says just do it. What should I do, and how do I stop thinking about it so sadly? Thanks for the help.
PS Sorry about weird category.

Do you have to take out a loan for something specific? Like i’ve heard of tuition loans, car loans, home loans, but what if you want to move out and get on your feet? Can you take out a loan to do this? How do interest rates work? Anything helps!

Considering that it is not possible for you to find a proper job for a while, due to competition and bad economy, and having a little money, would you move to UK? And I live in Turkey.
I do have a UK migrant visa.

Well. I wanted to know what country would you move to if the United States is in unlivable conditions. What country has a good economy or growing. For example, would it be a good idea to move north to Canada, east to UK, southwest to Austrailia?
Please provide a link of the economy in the country and if possible the fields.
It’s not that I am afraid to fight…. Well, actually that pretty much sums it up…
I mostly care about the living habits and economy. You should also consider that some countries have close economical ties with US.
I’m name my piece of ice, pawletoetown. And our main goal is facism. =P
