Say a person has a credit card or a few of them, they each have charges on them. Then say this person dies. This person is not married, but has kids that are older living their own lives. Now according to the credit card are the children then passed the pill because their deceased parent failed to pay it before they died?
The only name on the credit card is the parents, the account is only the parents, the parent is the only one that is on all paper work, and is the only one that signed anything. Whats the rule on this? What happens?

say you are in good staying, never was late. always payed the balance. but you have too many credit cards let’s say. so when you cancel that credit card. what happens to your credit score? Does your credit limit you had for that card get erased from the records? after all those years of building the credit limit to help the credit score. what happens to it? and what happens to your score? i’m just curious.

So i have a credit card with 700$ in it and i’ve already used it all but now i need to pay it off. But the thing is i don’t want to.

I wanted to know what will happen. Will they keep charging me for late fees and increase the debt further? I already know that my credit score will suffer because of this but how much? This is actually the only opened card i have on deck right now.

For the past two years, I have kept a credit card and maintained good credit by using it on a consistent basis and paying everything back on time. About 5 minutes ago, my parents handed me a credit card with my name imprinted on it. I didn’t even sign ANYTHING and I definitely don’t want a 2nd credit card. What do I do in order to cancel?

I made a purchase on my credit card… paid the credit card bill… then returned my purchase and got a credit to my balance… where is the money? Does it just deduct from my credit card balance? I don’t actually get the money back to me?
