Saturday, September 4th, 2010

I have heard that they serve you good food on a flight that is over seven hours long. Has anyone flown on American Airlines on an International flight, and do they really give you a good meal, or should I eat before the flight? And do they really give you free drinks? Im only flying economy, but they claim that the food is good and so are the drinks. Just checking. Also, any other tips I need to know about flying that distance is greatly appreciated as well!

Can you have too much good credit from a finance company?

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

I have a credit score of 562, and I am trying to get my credit score up. Besides the things I have no control over.. I have 7 entries from Security Finance, when I was struggling for spendable income. It’s all good, but can 7 entries be detrimental to my credit or should I call them and ask them to cut down the number of entries?
Error on my part.. score is 652.. also I found out, I have CapitalOne and they dont put your credit limit on report, so bureaus assume your balance is at 100%…ouch.. getting rid of CapOne

How do I dispute a 1099c from a auto finance company?

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

My car was repossessed in 2006 and now the finance company is trying to get a write off this year, this company would not work with me doing the time I had the car, so therefor, I voluntarily gave the car back. I’m sure they resold the car by now, so why did they wait until now to send me a 1099. This is consider net income and I would end up paying the IRS. Please Help. Thanks!

How can I find a very low auto finance rate for a new car from a franchised dealership?

Friday, August 27th, 2010

How can I find a very low auto finance rate? My credit union is 5%+, costco is 4.94%, and eloan is 6.99%+!! The dealership was offering 2.9%, but that ended on July 7th. That’s the type of rate I’m looking for. Does anyone have any ideas that I may not have thought of? Home equity loan is not an option, BTW.
BTW, I have excellent credit (700+).

What’s the best way to change from careers in finance?

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

I am currently doing entry-level finance-related accounting work in NYC, but do not hold a degree in Accounting (just your standard BA from your local not-nationally-recognized college with a lot of finance classload). I really want to get into more of a research analyst position, or something more to do with the management of securities for some type of fund. How do I get my foot in the door?

Can a credit card company get a judgement against you and take the funds from your business account?

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

I would like to know about collection laws in California. If my girlfriend had a dispute with a credit card company and didn’t pay the $5000.00 balance, can they get a judgement against her and take that money out of our business account?

Can they take the money out of a trust if she is the beneficiary?

What happens if you balance transfer from credit card to debit card?

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

It sounds like a silly question, but what happens if you request balance transfer from a credit card to the debit card (linked to checking account) and credit card issuer approves it? Anyone know?
Just to clarify; I want to know if it does go through would my checking account be credited by the balance transfer amount or would it be simply rejected?
Maybe I wasn’t being clear; I meant balance transfer FROM credit card TO debit Card. It has nothing to do with paying debt. I am taling about your typical credit card balance transfer offers that supposed to only work between credit cards.
You know, when the credit card company offers you like 4% rate for balance transfer to pay off other high-interest rate credit cards?
