My boyfriend’s best friend owns the dealership (inherited it @ age 22). I’m wanting a new small car @ 12k (Hyundai), and I said I would put 1k down. It’s one of those “guaranteed approval” places.
Here’s the problem, my credit isn’t that great-but I just started a great job. So I don’t have good credit or have much of a stable employment history. I’m also a full time student.
Do dealerships/banks really finance ppl like me? I don’t want to get overly excited and take my paycheck to the dealership, just to get let down.

I am looking in to buying a new car. The term would be 60 mnth @ 7.5% apr. They sent me a quote at 40000 grand financed and the finance charge is 8000+ and I’m wondering how much it would be if it was 25000 instead of 40000. Thankx

I financed a brand new 08 kawa ninja 250 yesturday. I signed the contract to have GAP insurance on my motorcycle. However, I changed my mind because it was costing too much. Therefore, I went back today and the same finance agent refuses to cancel my contract on the GAP insurance. His reason was that its already processed and it has to do something with my financing crap.

i just don’t understand what this means at all. i need this explained in laymen’s terms.
For 0% APR, monthly payment for every $1,000 you finance is $27.78 for 36 months.

My license is suspended in another state and I need wheels asap so can I finance a car or truck through a dealership without a driver’s license? Plus if I bought a car and want to register it at the DMV, can I still register the car without a license?

How can I find a very low auto finance rate? My credit union is 5%+, costco is 4.94%, and eloan is 6.99%+!! The dealership was offering 2.9%, but that ended on July 7th. That’s the type of rate I’m looking for. Does anyone have any ideas that I may not have thought of? Home equity loan is not an option, BTW.
BTW, I have excellent credit (700+).
