I have about $23,000 in credit/medical credit card bills. I tried personal loans with 2 different banks, but I didnt qualify because it was it was considered “too much unsecured debt”.
I owe about $12,000 in credit card debt and I wanted to make that my year’s goal to pay it off, but a lot of the websites I find require that you own a home, or charge a huge interest for someone to “negotiate” with your creditors to bring down interest. Does anyone know of a good resource where I can just consolidate the debt and make one reasonable payment?
I qualify for IBR, but half my loans are Perkins loans. Should I consolidate Perkins and Stafford loans? Because of the 5 percent set interest rate on Perkins, many seem to advise against consolidating these. But without consolidating, my monthly payments are very high. Any advice appreciated.
My leander has informed me that we would need to have his student loans consolidated before we are able to close on our house. I have already submitted the application to the consolidation company back on 12/04/2008 but they have not completed it as of yet. What do we do? We are set for closing on the house on 2/26/2009. Please help!!
What is currently the best way to consolidate my student loans? I’ve graduated and my loans are now in repayment. I’ve contacted my lender and they told me they don’t consolidate student loans anymore so I have to look elsewhere. Which service should I choose, and why? Thanks.
I am an undergraduate senior student and I plan to go to graduate school next year. I have about $50,000 in loans both federal and private through different lenders. I want to combine the payments but get it deferred while in graduate school. Help please

On my credit, I have a long list of my student loans (Sallie Mae Loans) that are all either $2000 or $1800 each. How can I consolidate then into one account for when I start paying on them? I would rather go through Sallie Mae directly then have some other company buying it, because I have a good interest rate with them.
