I’d like to go back to college – but dag gone college is expensive! How on earth can you afford to go back to college as an adult w/out going into debt with student loans? I’ve tried to find scholarships but it’s hard. And the FAFSA does nothing for me – they don’t consider me “poor enough” to get any help. And heck I could probably pay for college if I had no other expenses FAFSA! Anyway, are there any people here who have gone back to college as an adult? How did you do it financially?

I am trying to decide if I should do the online college thing or if I should attend a traditional college? The main consideration would be the loans. Would I be able to get a pell grant for online college and then take out additional student loans to help with living expenses?

I’m moving to California from Michigan and I don’t know what school I want to transfer to yet. It’s getting late for financial aid as well as applications. Am I allowed to take a semester off to get on my feet in a new state and decide where I want to go to school? Or will my loans start coming in when the new semester starts and I haven’t enrolled anywhere? Thanks.

My parents filed for bankruptcy about 2 years ago. This year my brother is graduating from high school and hopefully will start college. They can’t pay for tuition out of pocket, so they are relying on scholarships and loans. What kind of effect will bankruptcy have on him getting student loans?

I want to go back to art college to get a second degree. I got excused from paying back student loans. If I want to go back to school and apply for more financial aid is that going to be a problem or will I have to pay the other loans back? Please let me know. Thank you.

I have been out of school for a while and have been paying my loans, but they are super high. $60,000. I want to take a couple of more classes to get my masters, but I am a SAHM and have no income. Is it possible to get help financially, even though I already have loans?

I’m from Indiana. I hear people talk about how if you come back and work in Indiana for five years after college graduation you get half your student loans forgiven. Is this true?? What is this? Where can I find more information on this or similar programs? I am planning on staying in Indiana and teaching high school in my home town. THANKS!!!

I am a college student with a high past due bill. I can’t go back until it’s paid. Just wondering if anyone knows of a program or loans for people with very bad credit.
