I have pending charges on my credit card account which will make me go over my credit limit by 1 dollar. If i make a payment before they are no longer pending charges will i still be charged fees and will my APR go up?

I paid my balance in full on the 27 of Oct. The due date was the 28. From the 27 until the 3rd of November it was showing a zero balance. On the 4th it had a finance charge that was showing up. Chase tried to explain it away but none of my other credit cards do this.

I have borrowed a significant amount of student loans from AES. I had a cosigner who passed away 2 years ago. Now the loans have come due and for various reasons I have not graduated college yet. I am considering bankruptcy (I have other past debts I’d like to resolve) and the main reason is to eliminate these AES loans. I know they are private, not federal, and so I assumed they could be discharged in bankruptcy court but a friend said they could not.

How come on a Personal line of credit loan you get charged an apr and a periodic finance charge? Why not just get a credit card then? I dont get it.. I know credit card rates are high now but most times you can find credit cards with lower rates then my line of credit. someone please tell me the positives of have a line of credit loan…
