I purchased a cruise with a travel agency. I noticed a credit to my account in July and received a zero balance statement. It’s now November. I’ve already been on my cruise and now they are saying they made a mistake and want to charge me the credited amount. Can they legally do this without my consent? Apparently they have my credit card information on file without my consent. Thanks for your help! I want to do the right thing but at the same time I don’t feel like I should have to pay for their mistake.

I am going to place a PayPal option on my website (the standard account) where the buyer can only buy one item at a time after the price (shipping, etc.) has been decided. I am aware of PayPal’s fees, but do the credit card companies also charge me a fee for accepting payment? If so, approximately how much are credit card company fees? I want to use PayPal’s email billing option so that the buyer can choose his method of payment.

The gas station charged my credit card twice with two different amounts. Of course I only filled up once with just one receipt. I hope it was not intentional. But you never know. How do they do it to your credit card either intentional or just a mistake. How do they process your credit card technically in either case?
