I have a son who I have put through a private Catholic High School (not cheap!) and he is on to college in 2007. I bought a modest house last year. I receive no child support. I carry a balance on my credit card (low interest rate) and I pay as much as I can every month. I am never late and have an excellent credit rating.
I’m wondering if the balance I carry is high/average compared to rest of US? Of course, I’d love to pay it off, but with the mortgage, tuition, expenses, etc. I cannot.

Does any have the industry standard for approval rate for all credit card applications? What percentage of credit card applications are approved?
If you have the answer to this question, please provide a link or description of the source that states it. Thank you!

I just was hired in at Quicken Loans. I start next month. I have heard great things about the company.. I just got out of college and I sold furniture and waited tables through school. If I work hard. What is the average salary a person makes if they make it all 12 months. I heard it’s a great company, and they go out of there way to help the client. However, what does the average banker make per year?

I know that I should try to do as many as I can, but I am worried I may not have more than two by the time I graduate. Most of the jobs that I have looked at, want me to have at least 1 year of work experience. I will only have 7 months of internship experience and one year as a finance professor assistant.

So, I decided instead of going for my accounting degree, to switch up and make my major business finance. I know Im going to get my bacholers in that, but I was wondering if there is a significant difference in salary with someone having a bachelors vs. a masters degree? How much can a person in business finance make with a master’s degree starting off? Also is it worth it to move forward and go for the masters? Thanks for the help!
