Everyday i seem to hearing more and more about how this country is going to pot.
Bankers who make our economy near enough worthless and leave us to stump up the bill whilst they run off to their tidy pensions and big savings they have been collecting from undenaibly big bonuses they received every year…
Children who are leaving school unable to read and write due to the shortage of teachers or teachers that are not eduacated enough themselves or too damn scared what the children or the childrens parents might do to them…
Lack of jobs –
Crimes that could easily be stopped if people werent too scared to do or say something without the threat of something happening to them ( just last week a man got stabbed and dies because youths were throwing beer mats at a pensioner sitting down the pub minding his own business ) but because this man intervened and said, can you stop doing that ,… he is now dead.
Im sorry for having a rant, and i know that there are alot of good people out there but i was just wondering if anyone else is fed up with their country as i am and wake up every day reeeling from whats written in the papers , heard in the news, but are somehow not at all shocked by it all ???
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could look at a General Studies Unit 6 (Society, Politics and the Economy) past paper? It’s the AQA paper – I’ve looked on the site but there’s nothing there, it’s the last paper of them all with the pre-release material….I haven’t got a clue what to expect! The exam’s on Wednesday morning so any help would be very much appreciated!

I am sure I am not the only one in this situation, so thought I would see if there are any like minded people out there who fancy an adventure imminently!
I live and work (as an interior designer) in the UK (leeds) and am a travel lover with some time booked off work very soon. I plan to go away for about 10 days maybe 9-18th April but dates are flexible for the next 2 weeks as I haven’t booked flights yet due to being busy at work. My problem is that due to the current state of the UK economy most of my mates either haven’t got any money or are worried about losing jobs etc. Everyone is of course in the same boat, but I am not living in fear of my job disappearing and I can afford to go somewhere far away.
I would really like to meet someone who is in a similar position, preferably a young professional person like me, who can afford to have a good time and wants to disappear off to asia for sun, sea, sand, jungles and fun this week / next week. I understand it is last minute, but I have been to asia and indonesia a few times so don’t need the whole 3 months planning (not really my style!) It would be ace if you were female, intelligent, loved travelling and from the UK, as we could travel together, but I am open to offers from either gender! Tho if you pack football shirts when you go on holiday, I wouldn’t bother. ; p I like football, but really?!
I know how to have a good time and am hoping to do everything from amazing food to loud bangkok bars, shopping, to lazy days at the beach, to adventures to temples and jungle and whatever else presents itself.
So got a bit of cash in the bank and some time off work and an appetite for fun and adventure?

I just bough last week my 1st scooter ever. I’m 33, I know, a bit late, but the economy… you know. Well the thing is I would like to customise it, I’ve seen amazing stuffs on internet. I live in UK, Bradford. I want to do some work to change the look of it. Its a (suzuki hokuto 110) and possibly improve performance, but don’t want to spend loads of money on it. So looking for some ideas on what to do to get good results with little investment. Also places where I can get the work done or get parts and things like that. Very important! It has to be all so the bike keeps road legal.

In the UK we do not have “Nestle Pretzel Flipz” those CHOCOLATE SALTED PRETZELS and they cost £5 online for ONE bag of 56g – RIP OFF!
There has been a petition online but the person who started this petition clearly did not do their research; Nestle do not own Nestle Pretzel Flipz anymore.
Therefore I have decided to start my own business on eBay (Type in Chocolate Pretzels into the search bar of eBay). So far I’ve made £100, which has allowed me to buy commission from Deviant Artists and create a website (Which is coming soon) to make the product cheaper – because eBay & PayPal are extortionists!
Now this part is going to be a unprofessional rant, so apologises and you are welcome to skip it!
I’ve been on benefits now for about 6 months because I moved from London to Birmingham, I did have a job, but because Birmingham council and my old housing association took so long in transferring my tenancy agreement (Typically/averagely it takes 6 weeks – they took 4 months) I lost my job, my employers did hold on as long as they could although it was extremely unfair to other possible candidates. Six months later and about 100 CV’s a week later, still no luck, it makes me feel like I’m a crap person, although I know I’m not, it’s just the economy at the moment!
Anyways, if you miss these delicious, moorish, addictive chocolates, please buy from me!
Once I get a few hundred customers (At the moment I have 21 and rising) I’m going to employ other people who are struggling on benefits like single parent families and disabled people to help support their families and help get them off benefits!
