I need money for school and my school has already given me federal loans, but I dont have a job, money, or anyone willing to cosign a loan for me to go to school, I might have to drop out of school, but I don’t want to because I have endured so much just to get into school…So what should I do?

I have been out of school for a while and have been paying my loans, but they are super high. $60,000. I want to take a couple of more classes to get my masters, but I am a SAHM and have no income. Is it possible to get help financially, even though I already have loans?

My mother paid off her credit cards and then cut them up and threw them away. But she still gets blank checks from the bank and realizes now that the accounts are still open. She can’t just call in and cancel them without having the card number which she doesn’t have anymore.

My fiance’ has been going to school at the art institute of newengland for a year now and we’ve decided to get married. We have our own apartment and he currently receives loans and financial aid through the gov. , pel grant, sallymae, etc..
Will we lose any of these loans by getting married?
Is there any websites that can help me with this information??
Thanks!

I’m going to need to go to graduate school at some point. But I’m wondering how you pay for grad school when you already have loans to pay off from undergrad. I’ll be graduating with a degree in biology next year and am looking at a healthcare management program.

I already have a BS degree and I am thinking of either getting a certificate or another BS degree. I am not interested in a graduate degree. Would I qualify for a STAFFORD loan or something similar? I have taken out student loans 10 years ago when I first received my degree.

I graduated in May 2008 with a degree in Business Management and have been unable to find a job yet. I have noticed through job searching that they are alot of positions available in Finance. However, I only ever took one finance course per my curriculum in college. Would it be wise to go get my degree in Finance since it would only take me one year of course work. What about an economics degree? I am not interested in going for my MBA.

I know it’s a pathetic question, and it sounds like an oxymoron, but sometimes people encounter unfortunate situations in their life, and make irresponsible decisions in their past, and it will continue to haunt them. In the process of dealing with the consequences of bad decisions, life does need to move forward. Cars get old, have 150,000 k + miles and getting another car is essential. If a person (not myself!) has two judgements (totaling under $6000 collectively) and bad credit from credit card troubles, but has a steady job and makes $32,000+ a year, would it be possible in the slighest to finance a car? I am aware of high interest rates and such. I do know from experience that my parents had a bankcruptcy, came out of it, and within a month they were able to finance a new SUV.
Would it better to go bankcrupt? Advice?

I recently ordered my credit report and noticed that I still have an open credit card account with a department store. I thought I cancelled this card a few years ago. I no longer have the account number. How do I close this account without the account number and have it removed from my credit card as an “open” account?
