I have 2 years experience in an internal audit (consulting) environment. I’m growing tired of transactions and would like to gain experience in a new field. I graduated two years ago after studying Finance.
I’m thinking about to pursue a double major in accounting and finance in University of Virginia. Before I decide, I need to know how many credits will I have to take. I’ve been looking through their degree requirements as I’m not sure what is the accurate credits to graduate in both majors.
I want to get into an accounting job but do not have experience. I have a bachelors of business finance and I will start on a masters of accounting program this year. I want to get some experience before I finish my masters program. What do I need to do to get started in the field?
