I will be out of college with a degree of Business Administration with concentrations in Finance and Accounting. I am looking for a job right now. What are some places I should look at and what positions do I apply for? (Obviously I wont’ get be a CFO out of college.) Thanks for all your help!
Hey, I am considering doing a double major in business (finance) and accounting. I can do it in 4 years, I would just have a tight schedule with a tougher work load and not be able to take any elective classes that seem interesting. Is it worth it to risk a better GPA if I were just to mahjor in accounting? How does it benefit me if I want to go into financial services (corporate finance, i-banking, private equity, hedge fund, venture capital…) and/or corp. finance in energy or healthcare?
I will be graduating in about a year with double major in accounting and finance, which will give me 150 credits to sit for the CPA. How should i handle the CPA. Should i study for it right after getting my degree, or should i look for a job first. And how long should i study for each part, will i be finished with my CPA within a year. I also want to get a MBA sometime in the future. Thanks in advance.
Hi, I am an accounting major, and I am curious what kind of job I can get in Finance field?
About how long would that take? Would the classes i took to get my finance degree count towards it?
I want to change my major from Communication to either Accounting, Business, or Finance, but I am so confused as which one I should choose! I’ve taken Comm classes, and realized that it is NOT something that I want to get into after all, and my brother says Accounting classes are very easy.
What do you guys think I should do? I heard Finance is difficult, and I wouldn’t say that I am AMAZING at math, however I’m the type that if I study enough I’ll get anything.
