How do you answer this interview question? Why do you want to work in the finance industry?
well of course I said the crap about finance is a very broad term and the finance field is the largest industry and I believe it will give me better career opportunities. The finance field is diverse and challenging and I am very interested in finance. etc etc
well the interviewer said “how do you know finance is diverse and dynamic? you never worked in the industry? And also apart from that finance is diverse and dynamic and you’re interested, specifically why do you want to work in finance?”
i was really speechless? can someone help me? i am sure some other person will ask me the same quesion.

Answer: Sir, because organizations like that of yours are in the feild of finance, and to work with an organization of that repute i had to be in finance.

I think you did fine.He sounds like a jerk.I would have said,”Because I have done alot of research on the subject” Some people like him get off on making people feel uncomfortable and inferior.Don’t let it get you down.Keep on looking

but i think this was one of th most valid question which you could not answer because udo not know for yourslf. see the best thing is to ask yourself. i mean its you who want to be their not anybody else. from what i can make, you want to be their because you just want to work in some good co. because of money or you think it is growing industry.
whatever be the reason it has to be yours & only yours. do some brain stroming man.
as far as your interview goes, the question was asked by the interviewer to asses your clarity of thought. do you know what you want in life & work accordigly or you flow with the situation without any control on your life.
you must think what you want from your life & career & then plan your decision to fulfill thse objectives.
anyways think & think & you will find it .

After doing a lot of researching, i thought this job would allow me to excel while using all of my skills. I like the thought of working with money, being on the front-line and working with a team to accomplish a goal. I want to make you money and I want to make you rich, I’m ready to do whatever it takes to make sure those last two statements are true.
