Do you need a finance degree to become a financial analyst?

I’m currently pursuing a degree in industrial engineering. I am also interested in a finance career and I was wondering if my current degree will help me get into the finance industry if I ever want to switch careers.

You can probably get a entry level job without the degree, plus you may need to get some licenses as well.

Darling believe me when i say this ,i say this from personal experience and from being in this field for over a decade. You can be in the Einstein in finance but you simply wont get a job as an analyst ever if you dont have a management degree, and preferably a CFA.

The financial management industry is such a regulated place that there is no scope of getting a good job as an analyst without degree.
