we have excellant credit but we are not sure what would be the most financially beneficial way to finance our pool. We have plenty of equity in our home, excellant credit (825+). Home equity line? Refinance our home? Any suggestions?

I’m going to be starting grad school in the next year and have no experience with the student loans I’ll probably end up taking out. I’ve searched for details via several student loan websites, and perhaps no one mentions it because it’s taken for granted that interest accumulates immediately, but are there any loans available that begin accruing their interest after the student graduates school? Or is this “pay six months after you graduate” just a phenomenon with when the required payments begin? If there are loans that do not accrue interest during school, do they have fines for early payment?
Thanks for your help answering (probably obvious) questions for a student-loan newbie!

He said i would recieve an invoice from yahoo finance, just curious about the procedure and how it works? how does the money go to yahoo finance?

was just thinking of the wealth and land the royal family own and how much would be spent each year on their maintenance and security and whatever expenses they cost the tax payer, would the UK be better off without them for financial reasons?
Simm101 is one of them people who think they’re right all the time when in fact they’re not so that answer is definitely not getting chosen. His approach is “blame the government, what the queen says is gospel” when it is not in fact the point of my question

If so, can you explain how you came to be – education, jobs, careers, independently studying, reading, classes/seminars, attitude? I am currently reading the book Barbarians at the Gate and the aspects of corporate finance revealed in this book are very interesting to me.

Also, I was already approve for a car loan, but I want to find a better deal. If I go and apply for several other loans, will my first approval become affected? What I mean is since I was approve for the first loan, will it change because I went to apply for another one?

I’ve been working for a long time and a couple of my bosses have suggested I have a knack for Finance and it really interests me. Now that I’ve enrolled I’ve been looking around and there are lots like a business degree in finance, science degree in finance, computational finance, financial engineering…I’m really good on the math side but will a business degree in finance help me more in the long run?

No one seems to be talking about our sinking economy, but terrorism is the talk of the town again just because some cars were set on fire in the UK.
