How do credit card tips work for a server?
I am about to be a server at a resturant and they talked briefly about credit card tips, but not enough. When a customer gives you say 5 dollars tip on a credit card, how do you get that tip at the end of the night? Does the manager give it to you? Or does it go into your paycheck? Anyone know?

Normally there would be a way for the restaurant to give you this amount in cash at the end of your shift, but you need to ask your supervisor for the exact procedure, because every place is different.
